Zu allen NeuigkeitenWe are looking back on a very successful BKAWE Berlin Conference on Waste Management and Energy 2026. Experts from a wide range of waste treatment sectors came together to discuss current and future topics in the circular economy, political framework conditions, market developments, innovations, and practical operational experiences.
This year, we were not only represented with our own exhibition stand, but also actively participated with a specialist presentation:
Our colleague Stephan Prätz talked about the substitution of gas firing by retrofitting steam and water-gas preheaters to heat the flue gases in the flue gas cleaning area of the Stuttgart-Münster waste-to-energy plant.
Particularly satisfying: the first successful conversion phase of this project has now been completed – including successful trial operation and subsequent takeover by EnBW.
