Berlin Sewage Sludge Conference, 11 – 12 November 2025

Looking back on two successful days full of exchange and innovation

We are proud to reflect on a highly successful Berlin Sewage Sludge Conference (BKK) – a key platform where experts from politics, science, industry, authorities and local plant operators came together to discuss the future of sewage sludge recycling and, in particular, the recovery of phosphorus.

Our company was not only present as an exhibitor but also actively participated with a technical presentation: “Integration of a Rotary Kiln System for the Mono-Incineration of Sewage Sludge in a Waste Incineration Plant”

Stephan Prätz, Head of Business Unit Combustion Technologies, provided important insights in this presentation and demonstrated how innovative technologies can advance sustainable energy and waste management. Our Sales Manager Heinz Wienen also gave a detailed explanation of rotary kiln technology to all interested parties.
